Default PIC and Incident/Accident IRT airline app

In this particular application it is stated in the flight hours section:

"Pilot in Command hours for this purpose is defined as Captain/Aircraft Commander of record, not simply the sole manipulator of the controls."

In my logbook I have a lot of time that I logged as PIC because I was at the controls (left seat in a King Air for instance). I have no problem not including that as PIC in the app obviously. But if called for an interview would they note that as a discrepancy when they see that I logged a lot of PIC time that was not included in the application?

As far as aircraft incidents/accidents go. I was in 2 mishaps in the EA-6B. Neither involved pilot error. One was a bird strike and one was material failure. There are 2 questions I'm slightly concerned about.

"Have you ever been involved in an aircraft incident or accident as defined by NTSB regulation or as defined by any applicable military regulation or publication?"

"Have you ever been subject to a military flying evaluation board, aircraft accident/mishap investigation or lost, been denied, or been limited in the exercise of any military flight ratings?"

The first question seems pretty obvious to me. It's a yes. But the second one I'm not so sure about. I'm not so sure I've been the subject of an aircraft/mishap investigation. Since pilot error was not at play I think I should be able to check no on that one. But I'm not sure. I just hope this isn't one of those things that if you check yes your app just gets automatically rejected. Which I wouldn't think it would since so many incidents/mishaps don't involve pilot error.
