Are we to have received any aircraft specific material to study at this point? The only things I have received are generic company policy tutorials which I've completed aside from the SMS course which I can't seen to get beyond the 4 minute video at the beginning. The only thing that is required study is the EP&L pre-class packet. Study everything for the 200, don't need to know the 700/900 variants. That's all coming later in life.
Avoid the flashcards on quizlet though while you're studying, because in September the packet was updated getting rid of lots of emergency procedures and changes to SkyWest only limitations for the CRJ. I know this for a fact since I was slated for ground school in July and now I'm going
That video link is junk!!! I know exactly which one you're talking about. I would do what I did and sit down and keep replaying it while you do something else it took me a few tries.
Otherwise no aircraft specific stuff to know for class other than that packet. If you are out of the loop and feeling bored, I would recommend looking over "the Flight manual for turbine pilots" FAR part 121 regs, reading up on 3535, alternates, IFR environment etc.
