To each his own. I see both sides of the argument. People who are single or have no kids and have the ability to move maybe would go to a LCC to chase the pay. Regional captains with young kids who can't move are probably waiting for a Legacy to call.
And sadly they most likely will be waiting their whole career for that call. In my limited experience, senior CAs seem the most content and way less likely to rock the boat when it comes to wanting more money. Why would the legacy carriers want to mess that up?
