Those reasons have not changed. As I mention on another thread.......none of this faldera is about the TA, it's all about control of the MEC. To all members out there, here is another question.........if the TA is voted down how will we pay for more negotiations? The way I read our finances we are low,low,low on funds. So what......assessments??? How big ? How long? Whose hand do I feel creeping into my pocket?
No assessments needed. You are correct in the fact that we have about 800K left out of about 8M. The way I figure, we pay about 16.3M, (assuming an average salary of 200K), per year to National for dues. We're a cash cow for ALPA! We simply tell them we want some cash out of the MCF to finish this deal. If this is one's deciding factor on voting "yes", please don't do so. Keeping the faith!
