I enjoy reading this tread from time to time and although off topic, could someone rough out how many years it would take to make $100k annually from hire? I know little of the airline world and do understand the hourly pay calculators out there but don't understand airline extra cost like union dues or pluses like per diem. Thank!
2-3 years if you're on the 747. You could do it on the 767, but you'd be picking up more open time. Best I've done was about $90k, second year on the 767 (not including per diem). Granted, I stayed busy that summer picking up trips.
