I did a read through of this thread and it seems that some are and some are not, and that right now the new hires are being sent to Florida.
Any clarification on this? Also, do I have a chance at getting stationed in Las Vegas? From reading on here it seems like a pretty small chance.
I'd do SWA or Spirit, I think LAS is junior for both airlines and the treatment there is much better.
Yes, you will be TDY'd in FL for awhile, like it or not. Eventually, you'll make your way out to Vegas on RSV (on call) with 10 days off per month. Vegas is a bit more senior. You also NEED to get the MD-80 (likely) or 757 (highly unlikely), as the AB is NOT based in LAS.
