Really? Really? You can hold the attitude, your not impressing or intimidating anyone. Save that junk for the RJ threads.
SWA hires a lot of mil guys and his experience is good. Sure, no guarantees, but I'm suggesting he wait or try to make connections. I don't know as much about Spirit but I'd imagine he is competitive for them also. Depending on the specifics of his military experience I'd say his odds of getting a call (especially if he has an internal rec) to be very very good! A job fair will go a long way as well.
