I'm trying to drop a trip that starts on October 30th and ends on November 2nd. The pilot reserve levels Reqd/Avail show 26/2 on the 30th, 36/2 on the 31st, 34/24 on the 1st, and 24/25 on the 2nd. Unfortunately I think you're going to have a hard time dropping that trip. The coverage on 30 and 31 is so poor that it won't allow you to drop. You can always put it in and see if you get lucky, but with such poor coverage it's unlikely it will come up enough to drop.
Basically for an APD to go through it will require at least 25% of the required coverage each day to drop. The 1st and 2nd would go through but it won't drop because A and B day have such poor coverage.
A PD has to have Avail > Required for each day of the trip.
Additionally APD's have a few other restrictions around the major holidays and the super bowl. Otherwise you need a min of 25% avail vs required.
You might also try putting it up on the pilot to pilot swap board in icrew or try trading it for a different trip or smaller trips that operate on the same days and then maybe you could drop the 1st/2nd if you're able to break up the 4 days. Sometimes it takes more than 1 PCS run to accomplish what you want.
