I think you'll find this forum is the friendly place to ask genuine questions and receive genuine responses that you remember. Just look at the restraint and maturity demonstrated in this thread when a users first post is inflammatory, unfounded, and quite frankly, just doesn't make any sense.
As you start your aviation career, remember that:
- Pilots rarely win any love from the public unless the airplane they are on is experiencing an emergency.
- Unions do better work at the negotiating table, not in public opinion polls.
- There will always be an anonymous coward that doesn't understand the job taking pot shots from the bleachers.
This forum is no different than "real life", if give respect you'll get respect but at the end of the day you might agree to disagree.
