...you won't even see $5K....remember you only get 500lbs in household goods, which simply doesn't cut it --- even for a single guy.
Been there, tried that long ago as a Lt going to Tokyo for 2 yrs --- you'll spend the residual of your bonus on HHG in country, the extra costs of shipping your "extra HHG" and/or the "other car" you'll need in Paris (...probably can't/won't want one in HKG).
The bonus will vanish quite quickly on these expenses.....
