Do you know how long it would take to upgrade to the B1900 SIC and how much better the pay is? I currently have a CMEL with an instrument rating and will graduate college this summer with CFI and CFII. I will be low time, estimating 250 TT with 26.9 multi.
My class was in March. Hit the line in April, took a couple shifts (June and July) off to go commercial fishing, because Van FO rate is 66/day. Took 1900 ground in August, started flying the 1900 in October. The 1900 FO rate is $40/hr, 60 hr min garuntee. Seems like 4-8 months is average time it takes.
