I think you know quite well what is considered undesirable. My upgrade is of no concern (don't let the name fool you). The influx of new pilots is predicated on movement. $40/hr is not going to be enough to get and keep new blood. Those guys at the top of the list are the ones who should be working at Wendy's. You know the type. They sit on their smartphones while you do all the work at the gate because they have given up on life. They know all the check airmen because they have been here forever, so they don't study for training. All the while they are happy making $107/hr, not realizing they can make that as a 3rd year FO at a real airline if they just got off their arse. I kind of feel bad for some of them, but I feel worse for the unsuspecting passengers that put their lives in the hands of these unprofessionals.
