Just retired and hired at United. I'd choose the airline you want to be with. Period. Base it on location, culture, whatever your reasons are. Just as the military was, it'll be something you have to live with for a long while.
Congrats on United! I have a CJO from my first choice already, it's just the "C" part that has me thinking about insurance.
