You don't know anyone there? Are you active duty? In a guard or reserve unit there are many people you get to know well that are with different airlines. You can trust their opinions. I would think though you probably already have an idea of the culture, problems, unity, etc... of where you are considering.

Personally, I was most interested in United and Delta, the other carriers didn't seem like the right fit for "me". I also want to end up living out west in a few particular cities. Regardless, you can and may, change your mind if needed later.

Ask yourself why you went into the particular service you went into. Your question may already be answered.
