You may be right there. Unlike DHL, Mr. Bezos is a US Citizen, and thus doesn't have the obstacle that DHL has "wrt" owning a US airline.

Based on the web searching I did, I found nothing to suggest that Mr. Bezos would be another Henry Ford, Herb Kelleher, or Fred Smith.
