Enough sanctimonious crud from you former SAR Coast Guard types. I seriously doubt anyone has ever interfered with a genuine rescue mission with farts or other shenanigans on 121.5. I'm absolutely positive that if a real emergency was ever in progress, everyone would monitor guard and listen in for any way to help. That's the way I've experienced it crossing the ocean anyway.
