To be more on topic of his conern, I am pretty sure if he sticks it out at SkyWest, he will be a line holder by March or around then when spring break travel picks up. ORD will stay JR for the 175, so unless this guy is looking to go out west, his seniority will improve over time. If he really wants to go out west and fly the 175, he could jump for Compass, to get their 10k signing bonus, and walk straight into a line out of training in LAX, or SEA. If he wants to stay in the midwest, he could hold MSP out of the gate or within a month.
