I see the point you are trying to make, but it's a little bit of a stretch. You could make the same comparison between a C150 and a B747.. but much like your initial analogy it would be rather ridiculous.. the 1900 doesn't even have an AP for pete's sake
There are too many regional jet captains right now looking for major jobs that have twice the time that some of the new XJT captains have. The upgrade will slow, I promise.
The same statement could be said about Colgan; except Colgan guys don't have the Jet PIC time that gives
some recruiters that fuzzy feeling.
