hahaha, and this is exactly who skywest is going after, and any other airline including 9e that hires guys with low times. i think it is a brilliant move by skywest. let all the other airlines weed out the lowtimers that cant cut it, and then poach them with a better contract and more pay (for some guys).

i think its also funny some of the other guys (not you rick) that have posted on here that have said "skywest will never lower their mins below 1000/100 because we have very high standards and a tradition of hiring the best their is... well the only people that will be getting hired with these new mins will be the erau, and und guys that got hired somewhere else at 300hrs, did some flying and still go to skywest with less than 50 hrs pic, and less than a 1000 tt. i guess skywest saw the inevitable and is just being smart about it. now everyone out there can share in the joy of having someone in the plane with less than 50 hrs pic!!!woot woot!!
