Is it really that hard? IF you have a pass with 1P or 2P on it, and the agent tells you to take a seat, you still need to stop and check in because you are still technically a jumpseater. IF you get a pass with an actual seat number, you are a non rev. When you non rev with the family, do you stop and check in?

Not sure why guys try to make this harder than it is.
