Exactly! We are technically United pilots as far as the passengers are concerned. We are flying United passengers sometimes 250 a day multiple time zones in aircraft as sofisticated as theirs. We're not doing metro liners anymore. Mainline guys need to get with the times.
And there will always be a need for pilots to fly those sophisticated regional aircraft up and down the East Coast "representing United". Those jobs will be reserved for those who don't possess a bachelor's degree or higher. Think of it as a modern day RJDC.
