Exactly, I think I've learned more since being off IOE than when I was on it. Not hard to listen, ask questions and take suggestions. Gotta have some think skin in this business. But that FO sounds like a punk, every CA I've flown with keeps at least one hand on the yoke during the approach phase. I wasn't taught that during IOE either. But after asking why, it made sense and now I do it too. I guess with these phone interviews some entitled brat will come along every once and awhile.
