South and Central Americans will usually refer to Americans as "Estadounidenses", which would most closely translate to "Unitedstatesmen". Turns out, they can be just as ethnocentric and petty as we are. We are just not passive aggressive about it like they are.

Nothing more tired than the self-rigtheous sense of ethnic indignation of a South American, who behaves in his own house with the same level of contempt for others who don't look like him as we are accused of collectively up here. Anglos don't know better, but I was born/raised in the Caribbean, so it doesn't fly below my radar. Don't ever let a "sureņo" guilt you, they're just as racist, against their own racial shades no less.

The only time you'll see Latin Americans "united" is on Univision with their anti-assimilation pro-illegal immigration agenda and the ensuing manufactured narrative you see on that joke of a channel. In real life, they're as apartheid-prone as they come.

Now back to your regular programming.
