Further, Skywest is getting new metal, Xjet is parking airplanes. Many of the other regionals are getting new metal. Xjet is parking jets. Cummuteair looks to be getting some sort of flow agreement with UAL, and new metal.
So, what is going on with Xjet? When I was researching regionals to apply to, at the time Xjet seemed to me to be one of the best. Now it seems something has turned. Should I go somewhere else? From where I sit, at zero knots and zero feet, these trends do not portend goodness or health.
If you're gonna commute, don't come to XJT. If you live in one of the bases, it's not THAT bad. We are at the mercy of SkyWest INC. They giveth and taketh away. Hoping we will see something soon, but it's a crapshoot. Good luck.
