No, I'm quite serious about 24 hours for new hires. One of the rumors about why upgrades were so few for awhile was a lack of availability of sims and FTDs. Noobs get a raise and others upgrade sooner. If instructors don't want to work those hours - quit. Company can then raise instructor rates as necessary to get volunteers.
Really though, if it is true we have instructors going in on days off to work for free, why would these horz mine working graveyard?
