FWIW the guy who was at the bottom of the seniority list as of Oct 13th (1199 Sept hire) is 1167 as of yesterday's seniority list update. One month and he moved up 32 spots. Looking at the July hires, they moved up about 27 spots. June hires about 25 spots. That's pretty good attrition off the bottom. Only a few came from the top 2/3 of the seniority list. The majority who bailed are still on probation (and under training contract). I'm guessing the new planes will curb attrition/boost hiring for the short term, but only for enough time for JO to come up with his next move.
