Where is the FAA on this shietz? Why do we pay a boot full of taxes to have an FAA who just sits by and waits for an ALG jet to have a mechanical so bad that their crews can't save the day?
Then everyone will say.... well we could see it coming, ALG will go the way of Valuejet, the FAA will act surprised by what they find, the NTSB will say it was preventable, and all the remaining companies in the industry will feel the heat of overburdensome regulation all the while the AGL mgmt will walk away millionaires x 100 and their employees (the ones who aren't killed in an incident) will be looking for work.
