Also, if I were to get on what are my odds of getting dayton or even CVG (I know most likely everyone will have to wait until it opens to have a good answer). Any info about these bases i.e. how long on reserve and what is the longest it would take to upgrade? Just looking for ballpark answers. Thanks.
Retired ARNG here. Congratulations on getting your wings.
Where is your ANG unit? I ask because if you have to commute, DO NOT commute to your ANG unit. I was hired in Aug 14, sat reserve for six weeks and am now a DAY-based reserve captain. Also ex-Comair.
DAY is not an easy commute with some exceptions. The same might be said for CVG.
You'll need 1,000 hours Part 121 SIC time to upgrade. Getting aircraft commander in your ANG unit might be equally important.
