Make Voluntary STV's worth while by offering an incentive pay of 25% or make the bid lines 90 hour (4 week) or 110 hour (5 week) guarantees. The additional hours are about what the company would pay in deadhead hours for a 1 month STV (assuming they plan on paying DH hours).
They should be adding an incentive of 25% for everyone that agrees to be based at either location, but I guess I'm just pi$$ing in the wind about that one. Our union leadership and apparently some of our members don't think we're worth any extra salary putting ourselves out for the company, working and living in either of these locales. Oh that's right, my 'compensation' is the cultural experience gained from living with the euros or chinese.

Then again, we certainly don't have any "unique skills", so what am I complaining about.

This whole mess disgusts me. Shape of things to come I imagine.
