Yeah don't stress- I got mine on day 3 of INDOC, another buddy I interviewed with got his when he was about half way through sim training. Others I interviewed with got theirs within a couple of months.

You guys are seriously overthinking PTDY. Nobody knows what you're doing except you. The government can't handle the most basic jobs it is tasked with, figuring out if you're at home watching TV or sleeping in INDOC is well beyond it's ability or GAS factor.

EDIT:

I'm sure all the guys telling you how you can't start INDOC on permissive are the same ones at Al-Udeid telling you about your mustache length, sock color, and reflective belts.
