The one year seat lock is really the only thing holding some people back from what I've heard. That and no delta benefits.
I would be bidding in the top 10 on the E175 in ORD if I transitioned and I'm no where near that senior on the CRJ. The two reasons you stated are the two reasons I feel like I can't bid to transition. I'll probably upgrade within the next year and don't want the seat lock, and I'd lose my Delta benefits which I use probably about once a month.
