Pilots have always crapped on those who are "just barely at the mins", forgetting that hours aren't everything, and we are all capable of screwing up.
Hopefully Mesa churns out more CA's like you, though, and that's not a joke. I'm pretty sure I've flown with you and you're top notch, so keep it up.
Will you be the one who expects the training department to hold his hand all the way through training? Will you also blame the training department when you mess up royally?
I agree with Tinman1. You have the right mindset. And BikingScott, gaining that experience in the winter will be invaluable. These two guys know what it means to be a professional ATP. Their upgrades won't be handed to them at the mins.
All I was saying was there are guys out there and you know who you are that think the only qualification of being a captain are the minimum requirements.
