Of course if growth happens, you are only looking at 2.5/6 going down further. 2/4 is a real possibility. Think about those additional 90 175 frames. That's approximately 450 CA slots. Realistically, a new hire at Eagle could complete IOE, go straight to CA class and flow. All inside 2 years. Think about that when you detractors are saying we are NOT Anerican Airlines pilots. I've got news for you. We are.
AAG is positioning Envoy to be THE premiere gateway into AA. The crown jewel if you will. If you aren't ENY, PDT or friends and family. You ain't getting in.
So far they've lived up to their promises and everything is happening as planned. This isn't AMR management anymore. And that's why the Envoy interview is so tough now. You are hired as an AA pilot. From Day One.
Let's see what 2016 looks like when block hours are assigned. Everyone at Envoy will be pleasantly surprised.
Now Envoy is a "Crown Jewel" ?
The sleaziest used car salesman out there couldn't have come up with a better catch-phrase to try to move the merch better then that. Bravo !
Unfortunately, even the supposedly "new" figure of 250 upgrades for 2016 still means the fine print on this deal requires 750 upgrades for 2017 and the first half of 2018 to meet the quoted 2.5 year upgrade claim for today's handful of Envoy new-hires.
Caveat Emptor to all saps who wander into the Envoy showroom and watch your wallets while you're in there, especially around this character !
