Sounds to me you were taking what "might happen" and trying to pass it off as "will happen" to promote your position of settling for a mediocre TA.
Our current work rules aren't good enough to justify substandard pay, retirement, and trip averaging.
I'm not promoting or arguing for a mediocre TA. I'm arguing for objectivity and effective reasoning when one comes out. If it's mediocre or worse I'll say no. you're entitled to a hard line stance but I'm just trying to look at things with a pro vs con argument.
The ramifications of a long drawn out fight are very real to this pilot group and are oversimplified by some here. I do think a long fight will result in us losing more than winning in its totality. I'll use conditional statements from now on to not hurt anyone's feelings
