I think it's a good book. He's is a smart guy and as you said updating/adding to it all the time. For a new hire I'd use it as supplement. Only because it's not from Spirit. All of our questions from the oral guide and other places are based from our CBT. Yes, it's older and needs to be updated to reflect our current fleet but it is coming.

I'm probably also bias because I'm in the training dept but wanted to put it out there. I think it's a great idea to have as many resources as possible. Just keep in mind that guide might not be Spirit specific. Studying the systems is really on the student here. Someone commented in this thread or the other that you don't need to study systems until you're here. That's BS. That should be the 2nd or 3rd time you go through them.
