In a weird way yes. I have always contended that there are two types of sick leave "abusers" and DAL mgmt is perfectly happy with one type of them. They are the guys who somehow take it almost as a badge of honor never calling in sick...just like there are guys who also seem proud of the fact that they call in sick once a quarter whether they need to or not.

It is pretty simple. If you even have to ask the question "do I think I can tough it out even though I am a little under the weather?"....CALL IN SICK AND DON'T GET YOUR FELLOW PILOT SICK.
