Applied in Early sept, went to a job fair in Denver at the end of September and got the call first week in Oct. I'm an ex military c-130 driver/ T6 UPT instructor with 3k total with 1000 pic turbine. I think the job fair was the key. Been pushing off the interview till my wife finished with school!
I've got very similar times (military as well) with internal recs and have been told to re-apply when I hit their 4K hour mins. Did they mention anything about reduced hour mins for mil guys?...or do you think it was the job fair?
