They are telling us down here that we might have to time build the cessnas while we are learning the seminoles in the ACPP. Let me know how it is in DFW if you please! Also at ATP you are right you do have to study HARD HARD HARD, but at the same time the first month I was here there was no instruction what so ever. We took our knowledge test then sat around for a week watching King videos that were preparing us to take the knowledge test that all of us passed. Things have been getting better though. Anyone thinking about coming to ATP I would not recommend ATL without making sure that there are enough planes and instructors!!!
Love it here in DFW. We are right on schedule - and sometimes even ahead. I bet you will finish your private by Aug 4th, then you will do your timebuilding up to the 85 after you get your license. As far as learning the PA44 while you are timebuilding- just stay on top of your game! I went out and flew a 172 w/my bf right before my Seminole checkride and it was fine (some ppl discouraged me from doing it - said would screw up my sight picture etc etc). The Seminole flies totally different to me than the 172, and in that way I was able to keep it separate. Keep on studying!
