Ugh, I hope for everyone's sake I hope this is just a rumor. Although, I remember off and on rumors about Pinnacle buying Comair, then Mesaba and look what happened. I'm not sure why, but acquisition rumors usually have some validity. At least that's what it seems like to me from past experiences. Yeah, I have to agree with you there, it probably wouldn't be much fun. Where OO gave you room to run, Delta would be putting their brand all over you. I wouldn't worry too much though ... mergers only happen when at least one participant wins. In this case there wouldn't be anything in it for anyone, at least not at this point. IMO this rumor's as bad as bad can get. HH to U2.
