I've only heard from pilots with 30 hour layovers and regular reserve duty did not get the holiday pay.
Here is the language from the contract...
Holiday Pay
A Pilot who is assigned to and performs Flight duty or Reserve duty on New Year’s Day, Easter Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day or Christmas Day shall receive four (4) hours of pay in addition to any other Pay Time, including any guarantee pay (e.g., monthly line guarantee, BSTG).
That's why I said earlier that the language is confusing. You are reading too much into the "flight duty" part. All it's supposed to mean is if you have something on your schedule (other than day off) you get 4 hour holiday pay. It should have been specified that way. Instead it says flight duty or reserve duty - (sloppy in my opinion). Nevertheless, I just had the exact same situation over this Thanksgiving and I got both, the 4 hour credit for the sit and 4 hours for the holiday. If anyone doesn't get paid that way, you should grieve it.
