Here's another complication about a Delta buy back. Since Xjt has legacy ASA flying as American Eagle that complicates a sale back to Delta. Not that Delta doesn't have the money to pay a contract cancellation. I'm sure they would have to pony up some $$$$$ to AA since they wouldn't dare have a wholly owned flying for a competitor. I'm referring to the ASA CRJ flying in DFW. If it wasn't for that, a sale of the Legacy ASA side would be much easier, but more consolidation in the Regional sector seems to be on the horizon. It could take a year or more for the next wave to happen, but it will be interesting to watch - hopefully from the window while at a Legacy

Dfw crj contract is up Feb 2017 and we (CRJ only) are already being moved out of B terminal to E terminal (US Airway's old gates) in March next year. If AA doesn't renew then we would all go back to solely DL flying on CRJ side. Although I would hate to see DFW go, it's been a good base for me.
