Just listened to the MEC audio message and apparently negotiations happened yesterday and today. An email is forthcoming about how it went, but I'm guessing the email will go something like this, "both sides met, while numerous items were resolved, significant differences exist in regards to pay, retirement, scheduling, transition language, health care, Cadillac tax, sick call, holiday pay, etc, etc, etc,"
So the TA will come out
next Friday? just kidding.
Those of us who've heard it all before have never accepted the "focused" wording, nor have we believed that a quick TA was possible. Only those without experience with this company have expectations.
I have no expectations. I comment only to counter the Koolaide drinkers. Some guys need a little dose of reality.
