I like Allegiant's response these days. It's gone from;

"Our demanding schedule and hot summer temperatures are taxing our fleet", to;

"We have a team of mechanics investigating this occurrence", to;

"Our safety record is among the best in the industry", to;

"Ah, feck it, da' plane's busted- what of it?!"
