The future -900s delivered will have it installed. Tech ops is "reviewing" a fleet wide modification. BTW, this is not new from Boeing. All the Southwest NGs have hot mics.
Any chance that by "Hot Mic" we actually mean VOX? Hot mic would be better than status quo, but I'd definitely prefer a VOX system (with a hot mic sensitivity setting). Not sure why they are common in Cessna 152s...but not in 737s?
