Otherwise, I don't think it's as tough to "break in" at UA (0 flows) and DL (at most 50% flow?) as many think, given one has a solid resume, internals, and patience.
I think what holds a lot of people back is simply the time and effort it takes to submit and maintain a quality application. Just my .02
Well, take Delta and the estimate of 50% flows...so the remaining 50% lets factor in
-"demographically desirable" hires
-Military
-Children of Delta pilots
-High college gpa, Check airman, etc....
How many spots left for good pilots who arent in one of the above groups?
