These types of rumors always sound fishy to me. AAY doesn't pick what goes on a PRIA report, reportable is defined by the PRIA ACT. The only way a termination is reportable to PRIA is negative performance of pilot duties. Guess I will find out soon enough as I just resigned from AAY.
I agree and rest assured There have been many liberal interpretations of the law.
Another PRIA issue that did happen to a friend of mine is even though he had been type rated on a DC9 for many years, because many records were found to be lost over this last year it showed that he had only recently been type rated in a DC9. if you recall many of us were required to send certain certificates in over the last year.
Yes his certs say different, but this is bad.
