Point is: With no credibility with the line pilots, few will get behind their efforts. I don't even bother looking at their propaganda anymore. Call it laziness if you like. I just don't count on any ALPA led effort to enhance my job (can no longer call it a career).
I do support my LEC and am hopeful for change going forward in our new MEC (especially after the C44 transformation is complete). Don't confuse this with my lack of caring about ALPA.
Yup...I need to see a change before I get involved again, but if too many of us have my attitude there will be no change. The circle of apathy and disappointment wins in this case. 25 years of ALPA malfeasance has taken all the love out of me. I now direct it elsewhere. Anyone need a hug?
