Use the airline folks in your training class as much as possible. Unless they're total a-holes, they'll be a great resource. If you know any other military types that have come across (which i'm sure you do) I'd ask them how they made the transition. I'd imagine the biggest difference will be getting the jet from the gate to the runway..after that it should be much more familiar. I'm an airline guy and I have no idea how DL procedures run, so I'll be learning that as well. Ground Metering, Clearance Delivery, PDC, all that crap..I've got that, most days.
