Perhaps they're just putting a "good faith" nod towards the NLRB to ensure that there is no release to self help imminent and perhaps one or two more summers of money will reign upon mgmt before the economy turns just in time for this proposal to seem ok since, "look UAL is furloughing".

I think you are right. All this was just a prelude for section 6. I dunno what the f I was even thinking being optimistic here. I guess it is easy to believe what you want to believe.
- pay rates = no vote
- retirement = *** is that? 1-4%? no vote
- transition going away = for me a no vote for sure. One day I will be senior in my base and I plan on working that
- 15 year scale... f that
... and nothing about trip averaging and guarantees and you can go on and on and on...
Back to reality... I just hope we will still get released in 5 years.
