Do they count Indoc as the start of training for freeze purposes? Meaning can you only bid for a Base Lateral in a vacancy bid or is it open to both aircraft and base changes since you won't have started your aircraft specific training by the time this bid closes. 8-D-1-a When a Pilot enters training for a vacancy award, he may be ineligible to be awarded another vacancy for twenty-four (24) months
I know you can definitely get a lateral to a different domicile, I just don't know if you can change airplanes.
Is Indoc part of the training for the vacancy award ? Obviously you have to have it, but not sure if it is part of the vacancy award.
You can go to the 756 or 777. Iv seen a lot of guys with less than 2 years on property do a lateral so I'm not sure what the rules are. Company can do what they want so bid it if you want it.
I personally know a guy who went 737 to 320 with less than a year on property and AFTER he finished IOE on the 737
